Our Inter-league representatives fought
the games out until the final siren, with all who attended agreeing the
games were played in a spirit of goodwill between the leagues. Players,
from all sides, applied tackles with a fierce determination and pride in
their jumpers, as well as their own ability. The manner in which all
teams competed was a complement to their coaches and Leagues, sending a clear
signal that local derbies are popular with players.
Commiserations to the players who missed
out on the teams, your enthusiasm and attendance at training was
appreciated and will not be forgotten. Thanks to the supporters, coaches,
team managers, selectors, trainers and everyone else who assisted. To our
coaches Stef Foott and Adam Kelly, congratulations for your involvement
and commitment to Interleague football.
