Central Murray Football League Draw
2010
The
CMFL Board after considering all options and feedback from
all clubs have adopted a draft draw which still reduces travel for the
outlying clubs and promotes local derbies. These clubs are:
in the north, Balranald, Tooleybuc-Manangatang, NNW United,
in the south, Kerang, Koondrook-Barham, Cohuna.
The draw
is a 6 year draw where in each year all clubs play each other
at least once and the clashes between northern clubs and
southern clubs is minimized. Because there are 18 rounds, each
team will have two byes. All teams will have 8 home and 8 away games
The cycle is in how the team draws are rotated:
Ø
The draw is done in four lots of two years, the second year
being the reverse of the first year.
Ø
Swan Hill and Tyntynder swap
each two years. (This is to achieve at least one of these
teams being at home in Swan Hill each week)
Ø
All clubs
rotate their cycle, every two years. That is northern clubs
rotate their clashes with another northern club, the southern
clubs do the same with other southern clubs and the remaining
central clubs Woorinen, Lake Boga and Lalbert rotate their
clashes.
